The cryostat microtome offers the performance, ease-of-use and versatility to make it the ideal instrument in all types of laboratory work. The Cryostat Microtome is used for cutting thin sections of fresh, frozen material.
Microtome consists fully automatic sectioning with option of manual operation. Cryostat Microtome has hand wheel manually lockable in two positions. The cryostat microtome also incorporates an inbuilt hot gas time-controlled defrosting system. This helps in heating the work area for easy-to-clean, actively cooled specimen preparation zone with quick-freezing shelf for up to 8 specimens (maximum temperature -42℃)
The cryostat microtome constructed with antiglare, corrosion resistance easy to clean and disinfect. The spacious cryochamber is made of polished stainless steel. Microtome complete disinfected body is unsure user safety against infection. Outer surfaces and controls are coated with Nano silver coating to reduce risk of infection. Microtome has heated, removable sliding windows and electronic hand wheel brake that can be locked in any position and activated in any position. The Microtome has flexible two-part design for maximizes chamber working space with minimizing mess.
It is a top opening design for working access to microtome. A lamp with an in-built magnifying glass is also provided which switches on automatically whenever door opens to facilitate easy visibility. Microtome has smooth operating handwheel with spring balance for force compensation to system as unique handwheel adjustment in case of super cassettes. The handwheel is capable for locked in two positions.
A self-contained cryo cabinet and chamber spacious for easy Cleaning. This allows controlled collection and disposal of potentially contaminated fluids thus reducing the potential emission of pathogens into the laboratory environment.
The Microtome control panel has LED display and specimen head temperature, actual time, defrost time. The display displayed all the data, set and actual temperature, time, trim and fine sectioning of specimen etc. The Microtome has visual indication for specimen stop positions(front/home).
The Microtome has high-quality thin sections via stepper motor specimen feed. Section thickness selection is outside from the cryochamber. Motorized hand wheel movement is a standard feature with Single/Multiple cut mode. Microtome has motorized coarse speed electronically controlled motorized Slow 300μm/s, and Fast 900μm/s. The Microtome has step function at 20µm each time the key is pressed at slow coarse feed speed.
Four castor wheels fitted at bottom provide easy mobility for use in various locations and for storage when not in use.
Supplied complete with rustproof in-built microtome, refrigeration unit, transparent door, door cover, ten demountable specimen holders, two bottle of low temperature oil and one microtome 160mm long with back and handle in wooden box, cord and plug. Suitable to work on 220-240V, single phase, 50 Hz, AC supply.
