It is a motorized VIP turnstile model operating in both directions, designed for metro, plaza, stadium, prison, factory, and, most importantly, disabled access. As the most economical waist-high turnstile on the market, the SMI-VTO64 can operate for many years indoors and outdoors without issue. It boasts a stylish and modern appearance with the help of laser-cut stainless steel lines and can be installed easily and quickly with the installation kit hidden within the chassis. Standard Equipment and Specification
POWER: 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz; Optional 110 VAC
Power Consumption: Maximum 25 Watts, Minimum 10 Watts
Indicator: Three different transfer sticker labels of typical stop, pass, or disabled signs on the transparent plexiglass are offered as standard; two of the three different stickers are chosen by the user.
Control: There is a dry contact output in the direction passed; the dry contact can easily be connected to 12VDC, 24VDC, or various access control units and other peripheral devices to trigger passage. Additionally, direction choice can easily be set by users using the dip switches on the card. The turnstile allows passage in both directions in case of a power cut; this is a legal obligation. A counter-system cannot be offered without a written and officially signed demand from the customer. There is also an extra contact input for emergencies such as fire, earthquake, etc. All solenoid and LED indicators are long-lasting semiconductors; additionally, there is a buzzer on the control cart that indicates when passage authorization is received. The buzzer can be deactivated by the dip switch on the card on demand.
Emergency: There is an emergency input on the turnstile mainboard; emergency systems such as fire and earthquake can be connected to this input. So in case of emergency, the turnstile sets itself to allow free passage in both directions.
Chassis: The whole turnstile chassis is manufactured from AISI 304-quality stainless steel as standard.
Wing Measurements: A 10 mm-thick transparent plexi wing with 500 X 800 mm length is offered as standard; it might be changed on demand.
Mechanism: It can operate in two directions with its electromechanical motor; it allows one person to pass with a 900 movement. provides a locking system at 900 with specially manufactured solenoid coils for the turnstile. The 900 damping is made by the motor and optical switches, so it provides soft and quiet passage. It lasts 50% longer with its specially produced solenoid coils and leak-proof hidden bearings.
