Description

Jindal Automatic Tissue Processor is a compact and strong  instrument designed with the latest technology for complete automatic dehydration and filtration of human, animal and plant tissues, up to final fixing in wax.

The precious tissues are subjected to continuous agitation by rotating stainless steel tissue basket for thorough penetration of reagents. 

Ergonomic Latest Design

Each reagent station consists of a glass container for reagents. There are two hot stations along with the machine. The ergonomic design provides an option to configure the third paraffin station also. 

Two metal tissue baskets (hangers made of hard steel) with a firm bottom can be processed in each cycle. Ergonomic design of the tissue baskets prevents stucking of the baskets in the containers.

Fully Automatic Microprocessor Controller

The microprocessor controlled tissue processor performs fixation, dehydration, clearing & paraffin impregnation of tissues. A bright touch screen with large & clear display indicates the real time, date, the station in which the baskets are being processed, the time elapsed, temperatures for hot stations, warnings & errors. The ergonomically designed control unit consists of a password protected keyboard linked to the microprocessor to prevent unintentional changes. Eight standard freely selectable, storable programs enables quick programming. These programs can be modified even when the cycle is running. The touch screen shows audible warning/error messages in case of any malfunction. The user can program the following:

  • Delayed Start/Immediate start(Provides quick processing of tissues)
  • Dip time(Agitation time), infiltration time, centrifugal time for each station separately 
  • Temperatures for Hot Stations separate from 450C to 650C with built-in over temperature cut-out thermal switch to ensure complete safety of tissues.

The user can interrupt the automatic process for reloading or removing cassettes in the middle of the cycle run.

  • Tissue basket made of metal with varied capacities up to 100 cassettes 
  • Infiltration time separately programmable for each station 

Safety Protection for Tissues

  • The main unit proceeds to the next stage from 9th onward only after the set temperature is attained, with safety systems functioning at 10th, 11th and 12th stages. Prior to wax immersion, the control signals the machine on the status of wax temperature. If the wax is melted, the machine automatically proceeds from stage 9 to 10 and so on. If the wax is not melted, the tissue processor basket shall not move to the next station. The tissue basket is immersed / rotated in the wax bath only after the set value of temperature has been achieved thus providing 100% safety of precious tissue and time. 
  • Inbuilt safety device for protection from drying of specimen ensures that the basket goes back inside the respective solution in case of power failure. Agitation ensures proper processing of tissues.
