The Jindal 3D Hand Artery anatomical model, crafted from a rigid material, precisely replicates the complex branching of small blood vessels using high-resolution digital human data, making it a valuable complement to anatomical specimens.
The anatomical model of the hand artery is a 3D-printed model made from a hard material. Its data source comes from anatomical specimens of actual hand arteries, reconstructed through three-dimensional scanning. This model serves as a virtual reproduction and a physical copy of the real anatomical structure. It accurately represents the branching and deformation of small blood vessels, making it an effective supplement to anatomical specimens.
Data Source: The model is based on selected data from a high-precision digital human dataset, which includes original sectional data, refined segmentation data, and a three-dimensional geometric model of organ structures such as bones, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and ligaments. The voxel size of this dataset is 0.0384mm × 0.0384mm × 0.1mm. Additionally, cadaveric specimens fixed with formalin are used as a reference for comparison with the 3D-printed model.
Model Making: Voxels from the volume data on the surface of each anatomical structure are extracted from the original sectional dataset, and a texture map of the geometric model is generated to ensure that its visual appearance closely resembles that of real anatomical specimens.
